Fitting :rofl: I guess some people started calling my car Minty as the title of my build thread was "Minty Fresh" due to the color of the car. I had planned on naming the car at some point, and people just kept calling it Minty so I went with it.

A word of advice... in the future if you branch away from Datsuns, I would advice you to sign up to new sites with parts already made. Its going to be hard to get anyone to jump on your bandwagon when no one knows who you are and you have no parts to show for it. If you came here with something to show other than some tiny Chevy Cobalt pictures more people would believe you. I hope this works out for those here interested in CF, but with the past experience this forum has had with introductions like this... Im not going to hold my breath.

Nissan was always Datsun for cars in Japan. They only Nissan branded automobiles were trucks... Datsun didnt hit the States until something like 1960 so its possible that that badge is from Japan where Datsun had already existed for ~20 years. Your statement is true though as Nissan Corporate thought that 'Datsun' wouldnt be as bad of a brand name as 'Nissan' after WWII. Both brands already excited prior to the war though.

Yep. The taillights dont have any ferrules on the wires (they are just bare) and you can see the horrid chrome on the bumperettes.

Ive never seen any build pics, but its a U620.

Ive got all the deluxe emblems (with one extra), but none of the older ones. Ive thought about looking to collect some of the classic stuff but probably not until Minty has more fun parts haha.
