That paint job looks way too textured and thick to be a factory paint job.It's a very nice truck regardless of the paint.

1,200???? with two owners????? Probably miles on the rebuilt engine. It's nice not $44,000 nice. It's just a Fort truck.

I'm going with, probably original paint.

 

It looks too clean in usual areas that would show its been sprayed.  

 

Bed cover snaps, all clean from signs of overspray from what I can tell.

Bed inside cover.  All screws seem to be free of overspray.  Suppose one could remove the screws or replaced them.

 

engine bay looks prestine, no signs of a respray

VIN tag, no signs of spray.  

 

There's damage on the front valance, surely if they spent all the time to mask things like VIN plate, stickers, shine up all the Tonneau snaps, they would have fixed that damage on the valance.

It probably was damaged after he painted it.He is a guy that fixes them up and sells them.Look at his views from selling other one's.Watch pawn stars show,people bring in fakes all the time.But people like me know what is and what isn't.It says it is too young of a vehicle to have a accident report,sure just 40 something years old.
