Veraciousreasoning
Hey all, So my seats for my 1980 720 are really shitty and looking to go to the junk yard and try to find better seats. Does anyone have any idea what make/models I can replace the seats with? They have a bunch of 720's there but they are all the bench seats. Quote Link to comment
trjerm
I put some Subaru Legacy seats in mine, but there has to be some Nissan seats that would fit better ( I had to make adapter plates and drill thru the bottom of the cab for rear bolts ) Quote Link to comment
petercscherer
Datsun 280z seats are a real close fit. I just had to drill the back inner hole on each side. Other guys use seats from Neons or out of similar small Japanese compacts. The floor isn't too tough to mount to. Quote Link to comment
bilzbobaggins
Rodeo seats are supposed to be a good fit. Theres some idears. Quote Link to comment
CharlieMurphy
Have you looked into getting them fixed or are they just a bent mess leaning to one side? My buddy has S2000 seats in his and loves them. I had some knock of NRG seats that worked as well with the universal adapter. Quote Link to comment
EDM620
Bucket seats out of any import should fit size-wise, have a good look at how the mounts are set up on your 720 and compare. Expect to do a little fabrication for rear mounts, make sure whatever supports you make have large surface plates to distribute the load and ideally connect to the original seat mounts. Spend a bit of time making sure the seat sliders work as designed when you make your mounts. Otherwise you can pick and choose what seats you want - cloth, leather, power, speaker headrests, whatever. I used seats from an Altima - plenty comfy and with the adjustments I wanted. Logical1
I have no idea what these are out of, but they are a direct bolt up. I love them, however they do sit a toucher higher(or maybe I am just used to tired 40 year old seats) Quote Link to comment
Logical1
After pulling my driver seat out to check on the irritating and fucked up brain on my 720 (the ECS) I found a sticker that I believe says Isuzu. Quote Link to comment
Seven Two Oh No
@Logical1Those are Rodeo seats - I have the same ones in my 1985. Believe I pulled them from a 2002 model. 1 Quote Link to comment

The reason why I know is I just picked up the same exact seats lol It seems all the mounts need modification as the seat leans a little to far down to the right for a comfy ride. I should be getting around to it today. Quote Link to comment
