Rear Taillight Gaskets

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm currently stripping down for a rebuild and looking to source bits I might need for when I put the car back together.

Is there a source for the rear gaskets that sit between the taillights and the body? As you can see from the image mine are a tad perished...!

Thanks,

JK

I bought some self adhesive rubber draught excluder and re made all of mine. I had to rebuild all my lights on my SSS when I had them re chromed. Had to make up 24 new bolts which I cut to size and re house as the current ones were shot. I now have as good as new lights.

The inner gaskets on mine are still useable and the bolts are too, it is literally the gasket between the lights and the body. one is completely gone, but one could possibly be used as a template.....?

JDM Coupe lights you can buy the gaskets in-between the plastic and metal. I have some new somewhere in a box. Plastic to body, not available yet but I know someone working on a set.

ROW lights, Datsport sell them and I read somewhere there is a V6 rocker cover gasket you can use (found it: FEL-PRO VS50086R VALVE COVER GASKET SET (VS50086R))
