datzenmike
If it runs, just drive and enjoy it. Lots of these projects end up being scrapped. If you're asking these questions you probably haven't done this before so probably better to not start. Why IRS????? They have their own problems and by the time you stiffen the coils, sway bar, lower and slot the cross member to control camber issues you might as well have a solid axle anyway. 19 hours ago, datzenmike said: http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8375 19 hours ago, datzenmike said: Here's some reading material. Instead of cutting up your wagon you could be enjoying it. The '74 610 has an H-190 differential which is more than strong enough for a KA swap. The gearing is 3.889. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Just put coil over up front 3inch blocks in back nice wheels drive it so other people can enjoy it.instead of taking up space in the garage. 1 Quote Link to comment
ArchetypeDatsun
IRS in a 610 wagon has been done before. You'll need a 510 IRS a lot of cutting involved. H190 is a good solid axle could even get them off the mid 80s 200sx S12 for more splines if your afraid to blow it up. Quote Link to comment
slowlearner
I'm inclined to agree. Make it run. Drive it. Enjoy. 🙂 Besides all that, there are a million more options for live axles than IRS. Quote Link to comment

Don't know if it's true, but I've heard that the Mustang parts just bolt right in, too. Sounds reasonable that Summit would have all the parts. (Again, if it's true) Looking forward to seeing a totally swapped engine, and front and rear suspension done in eight months. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress. Quote Link to comment

ArchetypeDatsun
Justin's 610 wagon he did the IRS he is in Modesto and has a small shop there but you'll have to pay him good money to replicate what he did IF he wants to. http://www.superstreetonline.com/features/sstp-1009-1973-datsun-610-wagon Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
That white one is gangsta But I wouldn’t do do it myself, cost and alignment issues not Too many 610 wagons around to ruin Edited April 14, 2020 by banzai510(hainz) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
How hard would it be to slot the cross member and make this great? Quote Link to comment

I had been thinking of doing something like that to my 810 wagon but I don't have those kind of skill sets to accomplish it. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Your 810 wagon looks good already and it’s done already Quote Link to comment
