Okay, I've been around a while and have the crappy 510 microfiche pages where half the stuff is unreadable. I just came across this site which has everything in clear images - I've never heard of it before...pretty cool!

I must say that is deffinitely awesome! Wish I would have found that when I had my old 510... Would be cool if they added more datsun stuff to it. Like 620s.

Yeah, I Google'd it and had lots of listings... all for stuff on that site for L16 510s.... I was hoping.

Hi all,

 

I am the creator of the site http://www.carpartsmanual.com. It's a hobby project I am doing in my spare time. It is not yet complete and I have not done anything to market the site before it is ready. But, somehow it has crept into Google's index. I am working on adding clickable-diagrams and cleaning up the part names. More work is needed on the popup windows also. Currently, only the engine section has clickable diagrams. If you click on a key number in the diagram, the part info will be shown in a popup-window.

 

When the 510 manual is complete, the next manual up is the S30 Z-series. Then, maybe the pickup's 520/521 and the 620. I have also published a manual for the roadster that I will move into the http://www.carpartsmanual.com site and update it to the new navigation system with better quality images. The roadster manual is available here: http://datsun311.partsmanual.net.

These are new replacement part numbers for Datsun 510 parts that made it into later Nissan models since 1974 (the last edition of the original Datsun 510 parts catalog from Nissan). This update should make it the most complete part number resource available for the 510.

Great site. I am about to scan a factory manual from '78 so if you could use some of that I can send you the info. I got the catalog from my friend at the dealership and would not mind asking if he had anything you needed.
