KoHeartsGPA
I've had good luck with USPS, guess it all depends on the location, and how many people smuggle packages out the back door. Had a problem with the local UPS branch, where they showed my out going shipments making it to the local distribution center, and magically vanishing. When I stopped entering the contents in the field that printed out on the label, things stopped vanishing. Seems like a description like 'Integra-R LSD' was too tempting. On eBay I have to over-charge a little, to make up for eBay's blood sucking 10% that they nail me for shipping charges, and I still take a loss on large things. Not sure how eBay think they deserve 10% of the shipping cost..... But I actually put that in some descriptions, that eBay is taking 10%, which the customer ends up paying for. Another thing that has pretty much stopped losses when I ship something, is I do way more protective packing than it would seem to require, and use way more packing tape. If you ever seen the inside of a modern auto-sorting system at UPS, Amazon, or USPS, it's almost scary. All very high speed, and multi-level. Some packages can fall 10 feet if a jam happens. Saad, I hope you figure out the shipping thing... You have some nice stuff. Sadly I can't say the same, every single package that I've received via USPS had been damaged, some to a point where the content was destroyed, I despise the USPS and when I order anything I make sure the carrier is not USPS. 1 Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
Not really, I still see stupid high shipping prices on some things. eBay doesn't care if buyers get ripped off, just as long as they get their cut of it. No, really. 1 Quote Link to comment
The Taterhead
Just so you guys know, UPS delivers most mail and packages across states to individual USPS offices and then the post office delivers it the last bit to your house. 1 Quote Link to comment

When UPS and FedEx drop off pakages at my house, they're intact, no damages, USPS is garbage. 1 Quote Link to comment

Dolomite
When UPS and FedEx drop off pakages at my house, they're intact, no damages, USPS is garbage. I have nearly the exact opposite experience. UPS is shit in my book, they claimed no access to my door because of literally three inches of snow, I had shoveled a path and sanded it. USPS used it earlier that same day. Two days before that, my local fedex driver, a small woman that may not even be five feet tall, delivered my package when there was two feet. 2 Quote Link to comment
john510
Yes that /\ UPS has sent me an empty box due to it being thrashed from bad handling. They also deliver stuff to my neighbors house when the address is correct on the package.USPS seems to be fine. Quote Link to comment

Dolomite
I live in a town of maybe 2k people, and have been on of many to go into the usps office irate as fuck. They listened, hired new people that give a shit about their jobs. I’ve been served by this office for five years, service has been remarkably better for a bit over four years. The biggest problem I have is the surepost or smart post. UPS also sometimes just decides to drop off their entire load at the local pack and ship, then you have to drive to get the package you paid their lazy asses to deliver. 1 Quote Link to comment

Cleopatra Jones
I've ordered stuff from Saad before and never had a problem. Too bad this shipping issue is affecting his business. At least he's attempting to make it right. Quote Link to comment
