NorthxNW Posted February 17, 2017 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2017 Thank you everyone for the replies... I absolutely LOVE this little truck and already want to get another. I've been very busy fixing/modding some things on the truck to fit my needs. Things I have done: Installed (4) stainless steel "D-rings" on flatbed for securing cargo Fixed exhaust - The previous owner installed a very loud Cherry Bomb..... Had this removed and replaced. Replaced (1) tire that had sidewall damage and was unrepairable. Replaced Mirrors: - I absolutely loved the mirrors it came with (as seen in picture) but unfortunately they were useless seeing that the original bench seat was replaced with bucket seats and the angles were just not right. I found some very similar ones at a local wrecking yard that I pulled off a 60's-70's ford truck that now mount lower and fit perfect. *I'll keep the originals and re-instal if/when I find a bench seat. Things that need to be done: - Find/Install new seat belts - Fix door locks - Both drivers side and passenger side doors will not lock/unlock with key..... Doors/windows are missing seals....suspect lock has been exposed to water and moisture. - While driving cab smells very strong of exhaust- could be as easy as a loose hose.... Need to explore more - Possible Gas leak - Gas gage is broken and tank is an after market install. Not sure but I believe there is a small leak somewhere..... Need to drive it more and track milage. - Install new gas gauge - Find OEM radio and install........ (Anyone have an extra or know if these are hard to find?) - Fix hood latches or get new hood - Fix rust in doors in panels or get parts truck and replace (anyone have extra?) - Replace door seal and window seals (inside and out) I'm sure I forgot some things but it will be a fun project to work on for the spring/summer.......
