DatUte
Finally found me a 620. Couldn't find anything in New England so spent months trying to find something. This bad boy caught my eye so went for it. Can't wait for t to get here. http://imgur.com/a/v5k8f 2 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Definitely not a '79. Good score. First year disc brakes, internally regulated alternator and electronic (pointless) distributor. First year ball joint suspension. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Looks like nice truck! Good pick. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatUte
I know nothing about it. other than the eBay advert. Just put a bid on it sight unseen. This guy is going to be so much fun. This was the eBay advert. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-620-King-Cab-/322278523712?forcerrptr=true&hash=item4b094c0340:g:ss0AAOSwXrhXmSrI&item=322278523712 It does need work and I do hope the 58,000 miles is original. The wife can also drive it since it's an auto. Really could not have asked for more. The prices for the mini pickups near me are crazy. Saved a good $3,000 by shipping it coast to coast. Crazy. 3 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Odometer only goes to 99,999 so likely 158,000 unlikely to be 258,000. Good price. Probably an automatic... they are better survivors. 1 Quote Link to comment
HOGIE
Definitely not a '79. Good score. First year disc brakes, internally regulated alternator and electronic (pointless) distributor. First year ball joint suspension. How can you tell not a 79? I understand the antenna in the driver side but you can't see it on the passenger side in the pic either. Might have been shaved 1 Quote Link to comment

Scgreen620
I like those plates correct year for them in California 70sish 1 Quote Link to comment
DatUte
It will be registered in Massachusetts as soon as it gets here so the plates will be changing. Hopefully the vanity plate won't be long to get sorted. 1 Quote Link to comment
tr8er
Garage. No winter. And that's 158,000. But that's not a problem. It's got plenty left in it. You will love this truck! It's worth putting some money into undercoating in my opinion. You scored. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatUte
Sadly I don't have a garage to use. We should be getting a new house next year. I told the wife a garage is a must. Will have to see if I can use a friends. The New England winters are well known to cause a lot of issues. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Mostly salt on the roads. Outside storage is ok maybe cover from the elements. Watch out for falling branch damage. Make sure the anti freeze is replaced!!! a MUST. 2 Quote Link to comment
racerx
Oh crap New England. Was stationed in Maine for 2 years and dang it what the weather and salt can do to car. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatUte
Yeah I know that. The joke here is cars come here to die. I will be doing a lot of preventative stuff to fight it off for as long as I can. Hopefully coming from Cali it will have a good start. 1 Quote Link to comment
2wheel-lee
Damn it! Another nice 620 leaving California. We don't have lots of 'em here, it seems. Great price as well for this area...though San Jose is a bit north, so I'm guessing pricing is more reasonable there. I don't know about other parts of the country, but it seems that the speedo cables usually break at around 60k. I've seen so many trucks around here with the mileage stuck around that area and the cables are broken. 1 Quote Link to comment
DatUte
Thanks Lee. I will check that out when I get it here. It should land between 23rd and 25th. Can not wait. Will make a project list when I get it then do a build log. Being English I need a Union Jack somewhere on it at the very least :D Quote Link to comment
