datzenmike Posted November 6, 2015 Report Share Posted November 6, 2015 Tendril... I do not own a dvom at the moment but i will do that when I buy one You don't necessarily need a DVM. You know it's 12 volts. Get a simple to use test lamp for under $5. Clip the alligator end to any ground and if you touch the probe to 12 volts the handle lights. When jumpered to steal, likely a wire got hot and melted touching the start solenoid wire. At worst you can run a new wire from the starter to the ignition switch and join around the old one. Emilio's79620 Posted November 6, 2015 Author Report Share Posted November 6, 2015 Lmao it was stupid but I can't directly pin point what it was I just rewired all of the wires (I found no open bare wires) I also reinstalled the starter twice basically redid every wire and I put the starter wire on and hooked up the battery and nothing happened I was worried that I did something wrong but I decided to check just in case and I turned it over and it started up but now my lights are giving me issues Quote Link to comment
