EastBay521 Posted May 2, 2016 Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 Because i started getting tired of dailying my 521. and it was a deal that was to good to pass up $1500 from the original owner. 81 sr5 my civic in the back i replaced the head on a few weeks ago 46.5mpg on the freeway FTW Original cb radio that works Scooby doo mats that are as old as i am super clean seats Tranny needed a rebuild but i mashed it around anyways then something internally let go, and was knocking super hard. spent almost as much on the new tranny as i did the truck but ive got a warranty on it so fuck it. I love this thing.......even if it it slow as fuck. 5 Link to comment

EastBay521 Posted May 2, 2016 Report Share Posted May 2, 2016 Yes it runs very strong and doesn't burn any oil. 283k on it. has a weird issue though. once up to temp and you get passed 10mph the carb physically opens and keeps the engine at aboot 3500rpm until you slow down under 10mph. I have yet to look into it since I haven't been able to drive it until last weekend. 1 Link to comment
