noname
I bought this car for $2800 in December of 2012 when I was 16. I had the head rebuilt that next summer and then had EMUSA and McKinney Motorsports welded in by my neighbor. I took off the rear bumper and ran it like that for a long time because I had no money to spend on it. The interior has always been pretty clean. I turned myself a wood shift knob on my lathe to mix things up. I got some 15x8 steelies for a while that I ended up selling I ended up selling those wheels and was just recently able to afford some 15x10 -25 steelies, jpn garage flares, and some 225/50/15s. The fronts went on pretty quickly with no big issues for having no experience. I'm currently putting the rears on and going to get some extra clearance out of the fronts. How the front sits right now. Want to go lower and get a BRE chin spoiler and maybe a fiberglass 240z bumper. 2 Quote Link to comment

Spoona_Jay21
Love it! I personally like the 2+2 more than the standard coupe, and you have done this one great justice! Welcome! Quote Link to comment
noname
Thanks guys! I love ratsun and have been using it for inspiration since I bought it. Quote Link to comment
noname
I'm biased but I also like the 2+2 more. Not sure if it's because it looks a little more muscular or if it's just because you see less of them done up though. Quote Link to comment

noname
Going to get spacers for all four corners, get rid of the other rear bumper mount, get some smaller springs so I can go lower and weld myself some tall boso pipes. 1 Quote Link to comment

noname
Thanks for the compliments. The rear inner and outer fenders got welded up by my friend today. I'd like to learn how to weld so I don't have to rely on anyone else but I'm pretty broke right now. On the way to his house the fronts were rubbing so I'm going to be cleaning those up for some more clearance as well as grinding the back fenders down. I'm going to seal the back fenders with some 3M seam sealer as well. Got invited to a meet on Friday so I'm going to try and get the rear all sealed up by then. I need to order nut inserts and a tool for them before I can get the rear flares on. Quote Link to comment
atomman
I'm liking that ! I think the 2+2 looks so much better lowered, and those wheels get the thumbs up from me, I'm running 15 x 9'S & 10's steels on 240z Quote Link to comment
noname
Here's how it sits as of now. Going to order nut inserts for the rear flares today. I drove it a lot this last weekend and it handles really well and has plenty of clearance all around. 1 Quote Link to comment
