housew
more info on e-brake handle. is it more of just a hand brake or does it lock in somehow? Do you have a seperate rear hydro caliper? Im interested and i like it 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
hopefully i can find somewhere that makes knobs for it. I've bought knobs at Radio Shack in the past. They aren't super unique. Any JYs near you have any old Japanese cars? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Apparently some 280ZXs used similar knobs... http://www.ebay.com/itm/79-83-DATSUN-280ZX-EARLY-STEREO-KNOBS-OEM-PARTS-/321101478062?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac323b8ae&vxp=mtr 1 Quote Link to comment
jeph
more info on e-brake handle. is it more of just a hand brake or does it lock in somehow? Do you have a seperate rear hydro caliper? Im interested and i like it it has a lock on it to hold it in place for parking and the lock can be released so it can be pulled and released continuously. the master cyl on it is a in and out type. basically you cut the line going to the rear brakes and the line from the master goes into the (in) side of the ebrake and the (out) hooks back up to the line going to the rear drums. here is a write up i found http://community.ratsun.net/topic/41982-how-to-hydraulic-e-brake-in-a-datsun-510/ Quote Link to comment

Josh K.
Good call. You build to go fast. If it looks cool then that's a bonus :) nobody wants to bottom out the suspension or rub tire at 120mph in a corner... 1 Quote Link to comment

Z23T
It's not exaclty local, but I saw a 1982 280ZX at the N. Portland Pick-N-Pull today with it's complete front suspension and brakes still intact. 1 Quote Link to comment
Josh K.
B210 booster, 280zx calipers front and rear, powerslot rotors (real ones) and zcarstore performance pads. That's what I'm running. Cheap and plenty of stopping power. 1 Quote Link to comment

housew
sick score on the welder. the AL spool gun alone is worth the price. 1 Quote Link to comment
