ericsb210
Feels like an insult or an attack on our intelligence. Reminds of the ad for a 620 in CL "GTR specs". Not nearly as outlandish but still a sells ploy and not the thruth. Quote Link to comment
RTB
I noticed a lot more people interested in buying show cars. And that's just the wrong mentality for a 510. It's a driver's car. I would rather have a well build but slightly imperfect 510 than a show 510 because I wouldn't feel bad about driving it. People saw the video and want one just to have in their garage. It's cheaper than buying a muscle car. Quote Link to comment
shacks510
Not uncommon for a shiny new paint job to distract the eye from a poorly done bondo rust repair. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
And whats with the black steelies was that factory? They should be more of a gunmetal color on a car with dog dish caps. Some cars with full wheel covers had black wheels. Quote Link to comment
hitch
My thoughts on Datsun value. You have to consider that most of the interest in everyday cars is by those of us who grew up with them. Once we're all old and don't want projects any longer, we either loose interest and part with them. That leaves the next generation of enthusiasts and think about it, there just is not that many of you out there to keep these rust buckets on the road. Then only the perfect condition original cars and the tastefully modded will be wanted by collectors with deep pockets driving the price up. Soooo , IMHO don't buy a ratty dato thinking it will greatly appreciate over the years. 1 Quote Link to comment
