puffm
Truck looks good. I like your front clear lens covers. Didnt even think they came any different aha, Definitely going to re-do my floors, going to use the an Aussie version of por-15, called KBS-Coatings, cheaper and has same results...how did you do your engine bay? did you take anything out or did you just go for it? Your truck is looking sweet I must say! 1 Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
Thanks, for my engine bay I used a product from Eastwood. Here is a link for the product I used http://www.eastwood.com/underhood-black-matte-aerosol-11-oz.html When I did it I took off the big stuff like the windshield water bottle and horn and then I just went for it. It came out OK. I am happy with it. 1 Quote Link to comment

mcordero8
I have been very busy and have not had a lot of time to work on my truck, but here is what I have done lately. My gauges were very dim so I decided to put LED's in the gauge cluster. I did my research and found some cool write-ups on changing the regular stock bulbs to LED's so I did it. Here are some pics of how it came out. Here is a before shot.20140330_090936_resized by Pulled it out and decided to put white gauges to bring out the colors better.20141110_194152_resized by 20141111_203147_resized by 20141217_180018_resized by Here is how she turned out. I decided to go with brighter LED's then the write-ups and I think it turned out well. Daytime Pic20150208_170049_resized by And night time pic.20150208_182017_resized by 4 Quote Link to comment

mcordero8
So, I decided to do something a little different on my kick panels. I went out to Home Depot and picked up some plexiglass. I traced out the old broken kick panel on to the plexiglass and cut them out with a Rotozip. Here is how it came out.20150225_180156_resized by After I cut it out I decided to wrap it in the carbon fiber vinyl to match my instrument panel bezel. Here is a pic.20150225_193625_resized by And here is a picture of it installed.20150302_201318_resized by Let me know what you guys think. 2 Quote Link to comment

5t341tH
how did you remove the green caps covering the bulbs? do you have to take apart the cluster as well? 1 Quote Link to comment
mcordero8
I used a hot soldering iron and melted them off. They came off pretty easy. Just melt them off and do not melt the circuit board. What color are you going with? 1 Quote Link to comment
