521 1971 mini trucker vintage mirrors

I am thinking about leaving these ,kind of vintage look and barely screwed the doors ,anybody else have these ? will try and take a better oics. Soon will pull motor and paint engine bay Nissan Red.under Alleycatgarage

I have a gnarley set I got off one of the parts trucks.  It's pretty oxidized but if I can clean it up I think it would look slick.  Is that a washer tank in the engine bay?  Does not look like a kangaroo bag.

there is nothing better than a good set of mirrors on a truck 

if you ever haul a trailer they are a necessity for backing

Here is close up I can't believe I really like these only because they are small , old and no horid holes in the door ,and stainless , I have a bigger set on shelf here never would I drill a door.

When Datsun imported 521 trucks, they did not have outside mirrors.  I think that was because in Japan, they had fender mount mirrors, and I also think they could pack the trucks closer together on the ship when they came from Japan. 

So Datsun dealers would install aftermarket mirrors once the trucks got into the states, or maybe the outside mirrors were installed at a regional center, before the trucks were sent to individual dealers.
