125 CSL
New year meeting 2017 end this segment with the rarest of all, a 1954 Datsun DB6 Van. We’d wager even the most die-hard Datsun enthusiasts have never seen one of these in person. Powered by a 25-horsepower 860cc four-cylinder engine, it’s a very early ancestor to the Datsun 110 and 210, which are themselves the ancestors of the Datsun 510. If the 510 is a human, the DB6 is a like a chimpanzee. We don’t know how rare they are, but last time we checked Nissan didn’t have one in the Zama DNA Garage. This could very well be the only one left in the world. 5 Quote Link to comment

difrangia
Goin' Racin' - Back-In-The-Day Porsche 906 Carrera 6 on VW 'Race' Transporter. Scanned from a past Road & Track mag. How'd ya like to have that pair now-a-days? Had to think a little bit to decide whether to put this one in 'Car Porn' or 'Truck Porn' 5 Quote Link to comment
difrangia
I'd be happy as a clam to have that ultra low mile Type 3 VW; wouldn't matter if it had a Fast, Square, or Notch back (Notch with a sunroof if I had a choice). Quote Link to comment

Racer X 69
Snowed in, Billings, Montana. Billings T-bone Taxi by Racer, on Flickr A not too bright cattle hauler shut his truck down the night before. It snowed all night and the temps were around zero F. When I pulled out they had sheets of plywood all around to seal the underside, and had a kerosene heater blowing hot air under the front bumper trying to get it warm enough to fire up. Cost way more to get it to start back up that the fuel burned overnight would have cost. Guess they will let any dumbass drive a big truck these days. 1 Quote Link to comment
