Stock turbo. turning the boost up on anything means more power, its no revelation. 

I'm just always seeing rotary guys claiming big hp, even mazda, then when they are actually dyno'd the real numbers are way lower. N/A builds on non renesis 13b's of 250hp are rare. I wish they werent honestly, I would love a reason to use one but even at 250hp n/a they make no tq. My friends built 13b just dyno'd at 215hp and 125tq, he swore he was going to dyno 250hp. Another guy dynod same day with a similar build on a 13b dyno'd at 205hp and 120tq. Not ever impressive if you ask me, not for the money spent anyway.  

Event he renesis when it came out mazda claimed was like 250hp and when all these new owners started dynoing their car were coming up with grossly low numbers. Mazda had to actually change the stated power output... 

Not trying to side track the thread in any event. Was jsut curious bout the claim because a 250hp non rensis rotary isnt something a person sees often, if at all.

Well depending on the porting will dictate alot on power numbers for sure,as for torque they are lower numbers but the fun is the high rpm ,they way i look at it is,its like a 2 stroke dirt bike once you get it up in the power band then they just rip,now with the 4 strokes there torque beasts but very predictable.

am I the only one that thinks the 914 is ugly? i'm not really a porsche fan to start with which I'm sure is a big part of it but still...I just don't see it...

You dont like Super Silhouette race cars?

 

I don't like the earlier car...  But the second Skyline (below) is nice!  It's just the styling of the earlier cars...  I was watching Paul Newman race his Z last night... That is an un-attractive car too. My opinion...

 

A lot of people find them a bit garish, ya know...   ^_^

 

 

 

 

I like them, though...  B)
