Run them or not?   I need the center linkage. I have fabbed one up but IDK ..  These are 2 bolt Carbs

I'll have to remove the header and run the GX5 exhaust manifold to clear the carbs.

Are the factory air filters available in the US?

I've done some searching.... but where do I begin?  I know nothing of these a

I do know the air box is quite rare..  Right  Wayno?

currently running the 32/36

Yea, it is rare, I cannot seem to find one.

The center linkage is a small one, at one point I thought that the L series linkage could be shortened and welded back together, but I never followed through, as I did not need to anymore.

If you want, I can dig my setups out and take photos of the different linkages, also there is a guy up in canada that said he could make the linkage for me, I believe it was this guy,

I believe he said that he would need the linkage to make a copy though.

There is also these guys, but you will pay for what you buy from them, but they do the best work out there as far as I know.

Just noticed my intake manifold has a crack in one of the mounting ears. Have to weld that up...

Actually Banner I was reffering to the twin set up.   nothing fancy about this head.  I dont even remember which one it is. other than its an oval port. It does not have water jackets for the SU manifold.

Can I just drill them out ?  For the coolant passages in the intake.

Thanks Graveltrapp, I have that page bookmarked also.

I would just leave it as is.

I saw that it would be better to leave it as is, in some of my searching last night. As this will not be a winter driver anyway.  Is it a two bolt manifold?

Water warms and cools the intake but there has to be an outlet from the intake that returns the water back to the lower rad hose where it enters the water pump.

An A14T would, by Nissan nomenclature, mean an A series 1.4 liter turbo. Pretty sure the T does not mean multiple carb. S usually means carb. I don't remember what the designation for dual carb is.... or if there was one?

Ok then well the Wiki MUST be wrong hmmm   http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=A14T_Part_Numbers   but this would in fact still be wrong as the A14T had the 4 bolt flange carbs. mine are the A12T  set up.

I knew that I had read that somewhere.   "T" is for the twin set of carbs

At least for early Datsuns the designation for dual Hitachi SU carbs was a final model designator of "K".  Example my car is a RL411UAK.  U is North American / Canadian model.  "A" is automatic transmission [manual would be "T"].  "K" dual Hitachi "SU" carbs.
