Actually got to work on my truck tonight!!!

 

 

 

Got the motor all together with the clutch on, and sitting on the motor mounts

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then dropped my powder coated valve cover on just as a teaser/motivation

Picking up the new 5 speed tomorrow! Hoping to have the trans and driveline in tomorrow

Not many pics today but I got the last half of the day to tweek with the truck.

 

Picked up a 5speed from Nismodr and put it in, drive lines in!!

 

Also got the grill off and my amber high beams put in

 

And started on transferring the interior from my wrecked truck into the new one

 

Only thing so far I was not expecting was the gas tank to be crunched to all hell

yup if it is the same one it was one of the ones i had behind  my built  l18 in my 4 door did you check the front shaft for play ?

hmmm maybe you got the good one throw it in and try it i had 5 transmissions in that car and they where all sitting in the garage i gave one to ed . i kept busting trannys doing 8000 rpm burn out's and clutch kicking corners in that car

so, ive been working on my truck inbetween my job and working on my GF's goon.

 

Its been kinda slow going but thanx to help form friends im getting close!!

 

 

Started on swapping the interior from my wrecked truck to my new one, so i thought pics of the custom interior that came with the truck were in order

 

 

 

 

 

the floors have been POR-15'd, with sound deadener, padding and custom carpet

 

 

and custom floor mats!

Found out the truck came with new exterior window squeegees

 

 

And new door seals

 

So I replaced the drivers door locking mech and added my aluminum door lock pulls

Squeegies came from Nissan a few years ago. The door seals are aftermarket re-pops installed a year ago this month. I was working on a custom pinch welt that would seal around the window frame portion of the door. I have the stuff to make it in the shop..
