DAT510
They're like mini corvette wheels lol Maybe 300zx? Quote Link to comment
JoeCool
Look like Corvette wheels to me too. Never seen on a Z  Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Probably aftermarket,, i sold a set that came on a mid 80s Tbird a long time ago. Quote Link to comment
72240z
They arent from a z but are close to late z31 wheelsLate turbo?Late N/A Quote Link to comment
Scurrvy
also 3rd gen maxima wheels look similar. Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
Look like 4 lug 300zx wheels. Im almost possitive. Saw a set last week, Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
M30/maxima wheels I think they might habe put them om s12's as well Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
What's the part number on the rim say? 40300-38E28? Maxima mid '86- on. I like these I saw em posted on memoryfab.com, they look damn sweet. says they are stock Z wheels, but I dont recognize them. 1 Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
Well then, there it is. Quote Link to comment
72240z
Look like 4 lug 300zx wheels. Im almost possitive. Saw a set last week, No they arent Z wheels. Mike do you mean these maxi wheels? I really dont think they are nissan wheels at all, from any model. They looks close to a few but they seem too unique not to know. Quote Link to comment
patra_is_here
they seem different than the maxima and z wheels posted because the fins are recessed. not flush with the wheel face. says jdm z31 so i guess maybe was off of one of these: (four lug) 200zr Quote Link to comment
patra_is_here
i think they would look good on a 510, without the center caps off course Quote Link to comment
72240z
We got the same wheels as on the that ZR, I already posted them. Not the same wheels. Again they are after market wheels, not from any z. It doesnt look like there is a center cap that covers the lugs, only the hub. Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
What's the part number on the rim say? 40300-38E28? Maxima mid '86- on. I like these Quote Link to comment
72240z
Red you seem to have trouble following let me explain it for you. Mike asked and there was no answer. The part number Mike asked about 40300-38E28 is this wheel, 87-88 maxi. Its not the wheel pictured. I still say the wheel pictured is after market or at the least non Nissan. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If you look at the lower left one there is a part number on the rim edge. Looks like the lower right one has one in about the same spot. It's the dark area around 5:00. Get that number and I can look it up. Quote Link to comment
72240z
Ya a part number would be nice, regardless of who makes them we should be able to figure it out with a number. I think they are good looking wheels. They remind me of the firebird turbine wheels. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsun 521 ute
A wheel almost identical was released here in Australia on the R31 Skyline Ti which look to be the same as the Maxima pictured earlier. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdl4YLUJN-0ZfamSywNFlkGEPIAkKtR6BcSkfyyzS9QUuYgOIE For some reason I can't put up picture. Click on the icon for picture screen goes transparent grey but no box to upload?? Quote Link to comment
72240z
Ya it wont let you use that extension. You could host it yourself or people could just click. Close looking wheel. Nissan seems to have a bunch of close wheels. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
WOW those would look good with gold painted inserts and polished lip/faces. Quote Link to comment
southerncross
I've seen those wheels for sale in multiple places as factory Z31 wheels. I'm not sure if everyone is mistaken or they were actually sold on them in Japan. I've seen a few pictures of these on Z31s before online so who knows. They look cool though. Quote Link to comment
72240z
This thread is like an Abbott and Costello skit Quote Link to comment
RedBanner
I think the stamp says nissan, blew it up to a million, and enhanced, and it deffenatly could be... or not idk. Some one buy them and show us. Quote Link to comment
72240z
What stamp are you looking at Red? On the lip is the serial for each wheel. Quote Link to comment
