Ill get new wheels when I have to get new tires.

22Hg, you baller. Looks like the perfect location.

I was glad to see confirmation the motors in good shape.

did a few tests using vac gauge readings and all checks out.

Have you checked the knock sensor harness? It's probably just cracked.. Hope it's in a good location. If not, I'd get a knock sensor relocation kit cause you're not going to like where that is located.

literally posted from inside the car

there not to terribly high on my prioritys list.

Ya its its in the valley. Its common to be bad or corroded, just relocate it is my advice. Dont really need a kit your more then capable to solder 2 plugs together. You can also just eliminate it with a resistor.  On my X its funny, I can reach it because of the 3" bod lift. So if you plan to lift in the future maybe worth a try...

I say kit because on the Z's there is a harness, sensor, and long bolt to relocate.

Elimination is always an option, but I personally wouldn't go that route.  Lets just hope for corrosion, lol.

I love the old 2 doors but they came with the vg30i which blows. The vge in the 4 doors is much better.

2 doors were 86-89 then its was all 4 doors.

Just had to mention. There was a 1990 two door. With the vg30e. Its a rarer find. And really cool. :-)

There's one on portland or Seattle Craigslist right now.

Nice pathy skib. I has jelly. :-(
