I just noticed to you ran the chains up against the valve cover,why did you not stuff a rag in between the chain and valve cover.I tell you.

because im redoing valve cover, got another one, something cool top secret at the moment is gonna happen to the new valve cover, its gonna be a custom valve cover nobody in the world has done,

 

ill shut up and stop running my mouth now, im still kinda excited about that ka being in there, everything is about bolted down, big shout out to konig209!

 

yea im gonna do red ngk wires later, and zchopper in that pic it looks like a tight fit cause engine wasnt  in place yet, but either way it kinda is a tight fit

Stock what,rear end and tranny,you will be fine,just what rear end you got stay higher it will just spin tires,your going turbo and i am not yet and i an easily light the tires up.

false alarm, the stock drive line is 3 inches too long :crying:

tanker im keeping the diff for a little while and seeing how it behaves, if too short or im not satisfied ill use the 720 diff

So i can tell you by my green truck,that is a 72 model i think the rear is a 4.33 and it works really well,the red one on the other hand had the 1300 and it has i believe a 4.88 so if i keep it i will change it out.I think all the 1600 models came with the 4.33 or close to it,can some one validate or correct me please.

i got the 1970, according to the vin plate mine came with the 1600 engine l series

im fine with the diff, the only issues i gotta figure out now is the radiator cause i dont wanna cut stuff up, and the driveline, its 3 inches too long

Drive shaft is easy get the Tranny to flange of driveshaft mount on rearend measurement and take to a driveline shop and they will cut and balance for you.

 

Radiator issue,there is so many things you can do its just finding the right radiator that will fit for cost effectiveness or spend money for a custom 1 to fit.

havent had much time to work on it, finally got a radiator mounted ut i have to start over cause the radiator water outlet is right up against the alt, another issue is gonna be running the air intake, its a tight fit, ill get pictures as soon as i can

ok i think i got this, got a smaller belt and cut 3/4 inch into alt bracket, now there is plenty of room to run bottom water hose into alt, i know its hard to picture it without pictures but bare with me for a couple days, everything is looking good and should be ready by the end of the week if work allows me

almost, im stuck on figuring out the 2 alt wires, the stock T plug to the ka alt plug, any tips on those?

so far i know thin is dummy light, and thick white one can go straight to alt +

so that leaves me with an extra wire from T plug, is that ok or not?
