So I had no choice but to raise it up a bit. Was at 20-7/8".

Carpet goes in after new windshield seals. Car leaks like the titanic. But seals go in after motor is rebuilt. Wheels are rolling on motor rebuild. It's all part of a grandmaster plan. Muuaahhh!

Hung out at the shop today. Diezel was letting it all hang out.

Figured I'd try to do something about the tire rubbing issue. Here's the problem. Shiny part is where tire rubs.

When i go over a dip on the freeway it rubs bad. Here's what it does to the tire. Straight carving that shit.

So I flattened the lip.

Probly will still rub. But at least it won't carve into the tire.

maybe a little to low or you need lower profile tires

 

Too low? Blasphemy!! Lol. I have low profile tires on. Unless 50 series tires no longer are considered low pro.
