Went to check out an L20B today with busta nut in Livermore. checked it out asked some questions, pulled out money bought it. then as we are getting the chain bolted up i look at the block stamp and it read L16. i was like, woa woa woa, this is not an L20B. i called the guy over to show him. he was not aware of the stamp and thought since it had a W58 head that made the block an L20B. needless to say he was a Datsun noob. It's a good thing i saw that, cause it would have sucked to see it once we got it to the shop. dissapointed cause i was gettng all stoked on having an L20B. but oh well the search continues. looks like i might just rebuild the L16 and call it good for Canby.

In due time my friend.

Put her on the rack today and checked out the resonator job. Not. Very happy. They added some stupid curved pipe that now makes it hang low and look ridiculous.

Found a metal tokico brake master cover in my trunk that I bought at canby last year. Put it on the clutch master instead if the black plastic one.

Looks to me you can build another 510 from that trunk,Oh and clean it to.lol

Looking good.

Yea that's the plan. Lol. That is clean!

did you put these this way on purpose for more caster

if not they are installed incorrectly

they should slide 90 degrees to the fender

Yes randy that's what I did. More caster. But it didn't help much with the rubbing. I might just flip it back.

Adding caster by moving the top of the strut back will not help with the rubbing (I'm guessing it's hitting the foot well).  If you add caster by shortening the T/C rods though, it will help with your rubbing problem.

I really love original paint 510's (especially the greens that Datsun offered).  The cars looking good.  It would be rad to see you out at some autocrosses!

Oh really? Ok that's good to know. The rubbing is mostly on the fender lip when I turn the wheel all the way. One of my goals is to take her out autocrossing. Tyler gave me the info.
