bananahamuck
Down and out how?? You mean to low for the air dam ...or out as in kah-put.? Quote Link to comment
that one guy
Throw one up tomorrow jrock. And yeah. Gotta get a new tranny, and drain/flush my radiator, possibly replace it. Plus my rears are toeing in for some reason and i gotta do a small pull to get them to clear the fenders all around. Quote Link to comment
that one guy
So I was picking up my guitarist from s30kids house today, and I took a look at his rears. He currently has no springs, and he is toeing like hell. Conclusion, raise the car about an inch or so. I'll still be low, but now I won't scrape on my drivewayhopefully and it'll take all the strain outta my transmission and driveline. Quote Link to comment
Z chopper
and z chopper im going to troll your thread now haha which one? Quote Link to comment
jalen
I have no cluster yet, ill get back to you on that Quote Link to comment
that one guy
Alright so last time I updated I was gonna raise it around an inch or so right? Well I finally pulled it apart. This is the drivers side. The Original springs were way to tall, so I cut them down about 2 1/2 coils. Well they were still to tall so I hastily left for the nearest O'reilly for a spring compressor. Bear in mind that my car had been like this all day Well I get back, finish getting the drivers side in, and as I go to put the wheel on, I hear this ~KA THUNK~ from the passenger side. turns out my 35+ year old strut hat was like, eh I'm read to retire, and blew itself out the bottom. Like so So I threw it back together enough to get it out of my friends driveway and onto the side of the street. The next day I went to U-Pull-It and got two rear 240z strut hats. I really didn't need two, but I figured since the 240z ones are smaller then the 280z ones, I might as well swap them both. So I swaped them both out, in sideways rain that stops when I'm finished, and drove home. Funny thing is, I have the same ride height, but about 2 inch more of suspension travel! that one guy
jrock, sorry I haven't gotten a picture of that airdam up yet, I can't find it. Quote Link to comment
that one guy
Well, just pulled an s30kid and drove home in the rain. With no wipers. Goin 'oh shit oh shit oh shit'. 1 Quote Link to comment
that one guy
Ok since I have been driving my car for awhile, I would really like an answer on this. When I have a mostly full or completely full tank of gas, my car runs fine and great, not rich at all. As soon as I get below 1/2 tank, it starts to run so rich I spit fuel out the tail pipe. Any ideas? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
you live in az and its been an average 105' all summer, i think it might have something to do with your fuel expanding in the lines creating lots of pressure before or after the fuel pump.... Quote Link to comment
that one guy
Hmmmm that could be. I sometimes have to let it cool down because the fuel pump protests highly to heat. Any idea on how to fix it? Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
hmmmm...oh oh oh i know :hyper: ......FUEL COOLER!!!! :w00t: Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
ollz sorry it was more of a joke without a follow up got caught up in dinner... but i was going to say maybe bigger lines, or a breather for your tank i think most cars have some thing like that Quote Link to comment
that one guy
I believe that I have a breather tank? And I'd rather not redo all my fuel lines, as i need pretty much a new wiring harness to get my lights working. Quote Link to comment
