henryhustler
So I'm posting this from my phone so I can't brag as much as I would like but, just a few weeks ago I bought this 521 from this 89 year old man, he bought it brand new, drove it 13,xxx miles then just parked it. Started it every month or so then he stoped starting it. Basically sat for a solid 6ish years, then I bought it for 300$!! Anyway ill post a whole lot more when I get a chance, Quote Link to comment

henryhustler
No hacking, EVER EVER EVER, I've seen the horrible fuck ups of p.o., note that red 521 above^ was cut to fit 36" boggers... its just sad.. 1 Quote Link to comment

dirty-mik3
what is the massive street sign post-like thing for? did it hold a cb or something? Quote Link to comment
dirty-mik3
also the switch in the radio delete? this truck looks amazing btw! Quote Link to comment
henryhustler
The post was for a c.b., good guessing! And that isn't a switch on the delete panel, its a nut on a bolt. Still have no idea why. And yesterday I learned that there's a jacobs milage master mounted behind the grill. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
wow nice truck.that thing is clean.that bolt on the radio delete i wonder if it was a place he put the ground wire for the CB. Quote Link to comment
DanielC
The bolt in the radio delete plate was probably for the microphone hanger. Quote Link to comment
wayno
Some people know not what they do, it's just a truck to them, I have one also, a big freaking switch! :crying: Quote Link to comment

mrbigtanker
Wow that truck looks amazing,i am not a big black wheel fan but it still is a nice truck.I got a original rubber floor mat that would look good in there.lol keep up the good work.     Quote Link to comment
henryhustler
That floor mat something your willing to part with? I had one but I gave it to my brother. The brown 620 in the first post. Was out of my 620 but I'm sure it would've fit. But I've started painting my rims a copperish color. And for anyone around Eugene Oregon I recently got a powder coater and oven! Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
no not the fender mirrors. They still have new throttole cables for the 521 Key is a smooth arch to the carb Going by your earlier photo if you still have the stock carb the cables should line up perfect and last forever. I alsways shoot WD40 or lithum grease in there. I just replace my speedo cable and in 1 month it broke again, fuck! Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
I would its got one cut on the back side shifter area from when the 5 speed was put in.Check my post out i know there is a photo with it in there some were the floor mat its all folded right now still got the snaps on it and it was green but i painted it black.I dont know what there worth and shipping let me know if your interested in it.Did i say nice truck to by the way. JoeCool
Nice looking truck, although I am not too crazy about fender mounting mirrors. Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker
Go to page 3-4 on my thread and there is pictures of the mat on the floor, you cant see the cut because it goes from the shifter to the back.Looks like we got another fender mount hater.lol Quote Link to comment
henryhustler
Haha haters gonna hate. But I did switch to a weber. Seemed fine. I let my friend borrow the carb for a month or so then put it back on and a month of daily driving then this. I was having some grounding issues and was reading that can be a problem. but I redid all of that and ordered a new cable this morning. I need to find my real throttle bracket. I have one on there but I have a gut feeling that's its the problem. Quote Link to comment
