Busta Nut Posted November 17, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 While the radiator was out....I gave it a quick polish ......I've been lazy with the photos lately..... :no: .....there is no excuse for this... but here's one with it back in......I need some kind of insulation for the fan shroud gap so I haven't put it all together yet..... .....gotta hit Osh.... This is the gap between the alternator and the lower hose....same belt.....it's better....with the new belt it should be closer to the engine..... Quote Link to comment
Busta Nut Posted November 19, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2013 So she's all back together minus the fan shroud.... ......I haven't had heating issues yet so the shroud is staying off till I find something to fill the gap. The new belt gives much more lower hose to alt. clearance.... ....it's also wider so the whine I had is gone..... ..I had this wine that sounded like it had a massive super charger on it.....I kinda liked it so I left alone... .........anyone that's seen me on a funrun has probably heard it.... ....the belt was riding on the base of the pulley...like so So this belt is .5mm wider :lol: ....but much more shallow..... Lots more clearance and no mo whine.... ...and the belt don't touch... Quote Link to comment
