clk27us Posted February 29, 2012 Report Share Posted February 29, 2012 I live in seattle and was on my way to work when i spotted a white 72 610 sitting with half flat tires. Stopped to leave a note to see if it was for sale and a old guy comes out to see what i wanted its been sitting for a couple years(long enough for half the air to leak out the tires and some algea to grow on the moldings and stuff) body looks straight as can be and not a speck of rust on it. Littel bit of mold inside but not bad at all.....no cracks in the dash or back sill ....front seats are kinda cut up. As far as i can see the car is 100% complete all emblems inside and out are there and in good shape. He says a coupld of asian guys offered him $6000 for it and wanted to take it back overseas. says there are only 6 of this model in the U.S. i'm not a expert so i couldn't say. It is a standard trans. original hubcaps.....original everything. I do land scaping and construction and am trying to work out a deal with the reality company to see if i can get it.....if not the car will be sold at the estate sale in about 5 months to the highest bidder. The only way the guy would let me take pics was if i promised not to post to the net cause he doesn't want a ton of people coming by to bother him. I live in Northgate by the mall and i took 5 or so pics that i could show you if your really interested to see it. if i can't pic this up myself i will post all the info of the estate sale as soon as i know so someone can get this little beauty. No wonder you are getting the Ratsun bug. You are right down the street from patient ZERO! He is infectious across the country! yeah it's pretty cool seeing his rides every morn on the way out to work. Don't know him but i've been keeping a eye on them ever since i saw that mid 70's military green bullet side king cab. thing was sweet.........lifted and had like 33" mud kings on it.. after that it just kept getting better......the 510 showed up......then the sunny showed up and i was like holy shit.....lol my g/f still doesn't get it.....:) silly girls. anyway i'm glade i found ratsun......i'm looking for something me and my daughter can work on together ....she turned 16 in july and is totaly into cars.
