That 510 is in my area and was eye balling it for a while since the price was pretty cheap. Are you in San Jose? My 4door and I would like to see it when you go pick it up. :D

Well done kid +4 that is a nice car, realy is , realy realy is.

As for cutting the cage out, if you and your dad havnt done much metal work then id try and hook up with a local member to make shure the structual steel is kept intact .

Being able to re sell the cage is still important but if you gotta hack it out... Oh well man , just dont cut the car, and look for places where some one else has cut out metal, its a good idea if you and your dad havnt done alot of classic car tinkering, take it to a shop and have them putt it up on the rack and poke the chassis for rot.

Im jelly bro, give us moare oics!!

Yes the roll cage is welded in and me or my dad have no experience with welding so idk what to do

Dood, leave that cage alone and have some fun with that car! You might regret the down time and heart ache of hacking out a welded in bar. You plan on taking the family to the drive-in? No? I'd rawk that thing as-is in a heart beat. Nice score. :fu:

Sweeeeeeeeeet! I say keep the cage. You're young, right? 510s whisper to you to drive in adventurous ways. Might just save your life!

This is a keeper though! Love it!

Cool car man. But the full cage is really not good for street driven cars. It might save you or it could kill you if you hit your head on that bar. Just my 02.

Thats a sweet ride and from the look of it, you should keep the roll cage on it. These little cars don't need much to get into some damage, but if you do sell it let me know i have a 4 door that I would look into putting it in. 71ka510 is right though, what are backseats?... if my datsun wasn't reupholstered and almost done i would take them out I don't need people in my backseat just to scrape my tires..
