datsunaholic Posted January 5, 2012 Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 He must have "borrowed" KITT's Turbo Boost. Actually, he hit a landscaping rock at high speed. They put those rocks there to keep folks from running into the buildings at moderate speed. At high speed you just catapult the car. Cars on roofs are not as uncommon as you'd expect. But you really have to be moving to get that sort of launch. Fortunately for the folks in the apartment it did hit the roof. Could have been a lot worse if it went through a window.
