Siempreloco
So far it looks like what I want to do to this little l20b automatic truck is about 1/4 or less of the work and time that you guys invest, but here it goes anyway. 1.) Fix the choke cable- it's fucked up-simpleton job. 2.) New battery, it sucks, 2 year-old-can-complete job. 3.)Find a fourth wheel that matches the 3 matching wheels on my truck until i can find some dodge turbine rims and afford new tires- Still simple, perhaps tricky. 4.) Floor pans.- Necessary, slightly complex, but not bad at all. 5.) Removing the bed, sanding down rust, por 15 the frame, half-ass fix the rust on the bed ((BECAUSE I WANT RUST FOR THE LOOKS, I KNOW IM DUMB BUT WHATEVER!)) - time consuming yet easy. 6.)Rocker panels, at the same time of the floors i'm sure. 7.) Locate and install bench seat, recover floors, fix door panels, all interior shit will be nicened up. 8.) Make sure all brake components are in spectacular condition-they aren't- and replace all the shit. 9.) Same thing at number 8, but with suspension components 10.) Weber carb? 11.) Exhaust system, dual pipes running out of a cherry bomb extreme. 12.) Lowered on blocks for an aggressive stance, not trying to get ridiculously low here. 13.) Roll fenders out, put on plastic fenderskirts. 14.) #7 addition- Badass sound system, 5x7s in kick panels, 2 6x9s and a shallow mount 10 or 12 behind the seat. 15.) Paint a cool made up shop logo on the side. 16.) Ratsun stickers. (They add horsepower and cool points.) 17.) Drive it like I stole it until it falls apart underneath me. 18.) Start from top. This list is in no particular order...but that's my goals. Shit I forgot and added later: New side views, round, maybe fender maybe not. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
He was probably commenting on the dual pipes, rather than the cherry bomb mufflers. Yes make it loud, but it won't make any more power. Appearance does matter. Quote Link to comment

That if you get an earlier stock rim it won't fit over the disc brake caliper. Didn't know you had other than stock rims. No pictures. (hint) Quote Link to comment

Siempreloco
Ding-ding-ding.Sound is everyone's own gig.But twice the money for no gain anywhere? The pipes are only going to be in front of the driver's side wheel, so its really not that expensive, there are 1-in 2-out cherry bomb extremes, it'll be easy, and cheap. Quote Link to comment
