wayno read my mind. get the circular ones that have the rubber casing around them so you cut a small hole and they are pretty much flush mounted. but i would put two or three on each side to really make it rowdy haha.

so tore my entire front of my truck out today. Took a plasma to it. Cut everything off in the front. re-doing the SAS. fixing some stuff that i didnt like the first time around and had some parts custom made for it, going to be AWESOME when i am done with it... just gimmie a couple of days, and see... :)

fully rebuilt yota axle, trussed and with a detroit locker... yea, i am going to be unstoppable here in a couple days....

 

a much better hanger then i had.... 1/4'' thick. pretty....

D44 Solid axle

Paint

New Bumper

New Toyota Solid axle, 4.10 gears, detroit locker, Tacoma big brake swap (effing amazing) IFS hub swap, wider then the D44

 

 

and more to come tomorrow... hint, its 37" tall... :)

Its actually not that bad. Taking off its a little sluggish, but not much worse then the 33's. Once its rolling its not bad. I did 70mph all the way home from across town. Was still passing idiots like it was no problem. And it looks bad@$$... :)

Im keeping it 4 cyl just going to do gears. Its great... Pretty sure it's the only 4cyl with 37's... Rolling on the road still.

surprisingly. gas mileage didn't suffer that bad. I am still in the 20mpg range.

Z22... Yea. Bit I've only done highway back and forth between my buddies house. And 4th gear, 65-70mph, 2700-2900rpms. Does great... :) I imagine im in 20mpg range it isn't doing any worse mileage vs odometer reading so far and im down to half a tank. So I guess come fill up time I'll see.

Some parking lot crawling. Dont have the front drive line in, so its 2wd trying to spin the 37's.

my girlfriend rode in it for the first time since the 37's. Imagine someone, 5'0 trying to manage to get into a lifted truck. I am 5'8 and have a hellla hard time.

Back from a long hibernation...

Rolled my truck this weekend after a camping trip to riffe lake. Its a long story, but it was a slow flop onto the passenger side. no one hurt, nothing major broken. rear cab window and thats it. gonna swap another cab onto it, then exo cage. so it wont happen again.
