The only way a 1JZ can fit is either cat the firewall or run remote cooling. I measured mine for this transplant and the enginebay is smaller then the 1984 Toyota pickup. My mate did this conversion in his Hilux, which is why I know the dimensions, and it's rather fun. He's about to upgrade to 2JZ with large single turbo. Quote Link to comment
