Tristin
Well that post was a let down... I was expecting something more rare than XR4s. Those do look really nice though. And I dont know if I would call those NOS wheels; other than the XR4s that are there, they look like basic new wheels. Did they have any other old school wheels? Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
Dude, of you look, there are old Sparcos, Fortran Drags, Harts bbs, work and others. Maybe not a bunch of super old school JDM wheels but believe me, NOS wheels for sure. Most of them are discontinued, new, never used and older wheels. And have you ever seen a set of XR-4's never used, in the original boxes? NOS XR-4's are uber rare! Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Maybe not a bunch of super old school JDM wheels but believe me, NOS wheels for sure. Maybe thats why I dont recognize them. Very well... good score for someone into domestic wheels. And have you ever seen a set of XR-4's never used, in the original boxes? NOS XR-4's are uber rare! I have actually. Ive personally seen two different sets of new in box XR4s, new in box Streets, and in wrapper (no box) Impuls. Im not hating on your wheels, I promise you. XR4s are nice already and you have a very clean set. Im sure they will look great on the car. I think I was just expecting more from the uber long single post telling me to wait for it. 1 Quote Link to comment
DAT510
I was excited when I read that some one is selling wheels that arnt rota around here... Then i remembered how much they must cost.. Forever rota :'( 1 Quote Link to comment
Tristin
You can buy classic JDM wheels that need a little love for a decent price... then slowly refinish them back to perfection. Might be expensive in the end, but you get a legit wheel and it doesnt cost a lot up front. 1 Quote Link to comment

And most of those wheels are from other shores.... Also, they still make Streets. I know they will look awesome. Champs look awesome on almost anything. Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Yes, I know most of what you just said. The XR4s and the MKII-Ns were the only rims I recognized (Im an old school SSR fanboy). Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
Yup, SSR FTMFW! 1 Quote Link to comment
Tristin
The only non-SSRs I would own would be Riverside Riverges; otherwise its SSR all the way. What did you pick those XR4s for? (If I could only find a set of XR3s...) Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
Riverges are awesome. There are many other legit old school wheel companies like Hoshino, Hayashi, Work, BBS, Panadport, Wats, Goti and one of MY all time favorites, Compomotive. But none with the selection that SSR has. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tristin
Personally, I only like Wats out of that list. Don't ever plan to own them though... Not unless I decide to race my '72 GTR on magnesium bronze Wats. How much longer do you think until you're driving the car? Quote Link to comment
SR20DETdatsun510
Well, my bay is supposed to have color by the end of the weekend. Then we have to remount all the brake, clutch and suspension stuff. Then the motor install, rad, IC, wiring, fuel, etc. Then startup and flat bed to tuning. It prob won't be on the street till late Sept.... Quote Link to comment

Look like wider and/or more neg offset than mine. But looks like ur fenders have been rolled and hella pulled. I'm looking to do something like that but not so aggressively. Quote Link to comment
