datrod
I received a call last night that Mr Fred Jordan had passed. Fred was all about the Datsun, He was manager of the first Datsun dealer in the U.S. He also was the founder of the Datsun Heritage Museum. He spent the last 40 + years pushing the Datsun name. He was able to get one of the biggest Hot rod shows in So Cal to let Datsun enter. He also lobbied to get them into a couple of concours shows. He was one tuff old dude. Fought in WW2 and made it home. Raced sprint cars back in late 40-50's.... They don't make em like that anymore. I'll miss him. He was a great freind of mine. He fought a long hard battle with the big C RIP Fred Quote Link to comment

Big Schlink
RIP from a fellow Veteran, thank you for your service in all areas of life. You and yours will be in my prayers this day. IT IS THE SOLDIER It is the Soldier, not the minister Who has given us freedom of religion. It is the Soldier, not the reporter Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet Who has given us freedom of speech. It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer Who has given us the right to a fair trial. It is the Soldier, not the politician Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag, Who serves beneath the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag, Who allows the protester to burn the flag. ©Copyright 1970, 2005 by Charles M.
