Hey Bretherans, Welcome ME!

New on here and I have lots of ideas to share with yall. Joined other forums but most of the people on the other forums are Aholes and seem very old and purist and seem to like OEM and stock Z's. I guess I belong here since I actually work on my cars and like fabricating new stuff, one off stuff. I get criticized because I guess people don't understand, many Z owners out there just want to restore their Z's and pay a shop lots of money to build it for them. Owning a car should be fun and you should use it and work on it. I just can't stand people buying a car and just have it sit in the garage and look at it and put wax on it each weekend and at car shows.

Anyway, last weekend was quite nice so I got my lazy bump up and made a few custom things for my Z. I was at the JCCS show and most of the Z's there were nice, but all had front bumpers and I really like to see the full grill. My 260z front bumper and rear were bent and damaged in the middle and they are quite ugly even if they weren't. So I decided to do my step dad's Camaro RS SS short bumper for the Z. I cut the heck out of them and made them flush with the bucket and lip. They stuck out too far as when they were stock.

I then made a custom front grill which I had some inspiration from the Aston Martins. I had a cheapo canopy frame that the neighbor had given me and I made good use of them. I had a piece of aluminum in the shed and made a air diversion front lip diffuser panel so that air would divert to the radiator and will close up the gap from the lip to the rad support.

So here are the pictures, I really like it and it's badass. The stock grills was just not doing it for me, My next thing is to mount turn signals behind the grill, and after that a custom Dash.

Got to master my welding skills again, but I'll not wear shorts next time. Ouch..

Here is the aluminum air diversion panel which will be painted black tomorrow. I will also make one for the top of the radiator support to the top of the grill, which will hide HID kits, and other wiring in the area.

I've done a lot of custom mods to my Z, I have a custom Rear strut bar and wire tuck that I am doing now, I'll post them up soon. Stay tuned, Ducer is the best thing RATSUN Has seen in a while. I work on cars 5-7 hours a day, and ideals keep coming, my hands are Sigfried and Roy, Magic. =)

I had a bunch of fuel hardlines from S13's I had, and I made a bunch of custom fuel lines for the Z. Bought me a cheapo tubing bender at Autozone and went nuts.

I have bunch of stuff I've done in the last 2-3 months since I got the 260Z. I'd post more pictures but there's an IMG limit on the forum. Im doing the Wire tuck and so happy, I cleaned up all the wires.

And I do everything in my garage/backyard. 100% in house. 100% my hands. I'd like to share some ideas with yall, since I know people on Ratsun can appreciate "originality" not "original."My whole agenda is to make parts from stuff I have laying around the house, RAT ROD like.

No need for expensive stuff, when you have Ebay, Homedepot, Autozone, and ideas in your head.

WTF is Skib? Is that like a new slang on the internet?

I got that Google "Redirect" virus crap on my other desktop. This virus redirects you to some weird site every time you google something. GOD I hate MS XP. Oh, well, it's a burnt copy. If you have a copy of Windows 7, let me know, I can barter for welding services and tech help. Hahaha

Well, tomorrow I'll finish up the wire tuck and I'll post up more pictures of that, CAN'T WAIT, so sick.

Okay fellow Nissanians. You'll see lots of me around this forum, I am a whore, post whore. Speaking of which, it is 1:17am here, so Im going to find PRON!!!!!!!

It's so great now a days, remember the days when you had to look at images, and short video clips In the 56k Modem days?? Man, how we monkeys went from Bananas to 3D TV and freaking Turbos and ECU's. Amazing~~~~~~~

There are plenty of assholes here too ;) However there is also a bunch of cool enthusiasts and a wealth of great info. I couldn't agree more with actually working on your ride because that is what makes a car fun and really 'yours'. Being a relentless tinker I'm always modifying and adding strange pieces from wherever I find them ;) I get PLENTY of criticism for modifying my 510, but I'll keep wrenchin on without worries :P

Cool Cool. I got started on the wire tuck again today and basically 90% done, I have to hook up a few wires and lengthen the passenger headlight wires, but other than that it's done. So the engine bay now looks much different than the picture above of it.

I got a velocity stack and now all the wires are tucked, BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pushed a hose down the fender rail tubing and taped all the harness plugs tight and aerodymanically smooth, and pulled the harness through the front. Just perfect, no snags at all and came right through. Looks soooOOoOOooOoOoooO clean, show worthy huh? Hahaha.

Putting the coil in the front behind the grill as well to clear up all that cluster, the coil wire was just perfect length too, luckyyyyyyyyyy.

I gotta hose down the engine bay, been doing some bondo in the QP so lil dusty.
