phatdave
I talked to Mike and, only half jokingly asked him about fabing an aluminum F.P.B.O. plate and well VOILA. I'll be damned if he didn't do it Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
You know a big block Chevy FPBO bolts right on, right? ;) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
All Z20 and Z22 motors have them too, perfect fit on an L. Quote Link to comment

datsunfreak
"Love" would have been engraving a nice "SSS" or "620" on the front. This is "like" at best... ;) Quote Link to comment
phatdave
Hey Mike why didn't you engrave it? Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
It must have been love since it was done by hand!! :( I thought there were others out there that fit, but it gave me an excuse to play with something different. :) Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
The box it got dropped in had a 4pm pick up, so you should see it monday :) Quote Link to comment

phatdave
Thanks a bunch Mike. Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
...see if it actually fits before you thank me :) Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Dave's right. I'd rather have homemade pie. Mike it should be signed. Mklotz signature series parts. Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
All my equipment is manual....no way to engrave anything. I could use my high speed engraver and put your signature on pretty much anything you can scratch, but steel is a royal pain and it's all by hand anyway. I'm looking into having ones laser cut out of 3/8" steel....would end up about $5-6?? But if bagged_datsun can cnc some with the ratsun logo....I don't know if I'll bother. Not sure how many guys that are going to the trouble of putting an electric pump on would need a super cheap block off. An extra $20-30 for an engraved one in aluminum would be a lot more appropriate :) Quote Link to comment
slodat
I vote for aluminum on stuff like that. Quote Link to comment
hang_510
FPBO w/ a ratsun logo ??? :w00t: Quote Link to comment
kiznook
I think an inspection plate with the Ratsun logo would be better...Seeing as how everyone with a L series has one. Sorry Jeff :D Quote Link to comment
slodat
Nice one Guy! I vote for the inspection plate. Quote Link to comment
phatdave
Mike, Its gonna fit. Just have to use a Ford wrench very judisously. And signature Mklotz Datsun parts would be sweet. And.....I have the original. so everybody can be real fucking jealous right about now! :D Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
They just aren't the same. Looks like Kermet's head. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q251/datzenmike/motorfuelpumpblockoffZ20Z22.jpg[/img]"] Quote Link to comment
mklotz70
I like aluminum better too....but the steel would be cheap to have laser cut......which I've decided not to do anyway. Maybe we can get one of the cnc guys to make them up. Quote Link to comment
