sweet that will be bad ass and your throttle is already cable operated so that will make your life easier making a linkage setup work would be difficult though i suppose you could mount the carbs sideways that might make it easier

I am considering trying my hand at a little fiberglass bodywork. Who here has done this and what should I look out for?

 

Any advise would be very nice. lol :D What I need to do is hide the spacing from the bottom of each side of my hood scoop right where it meets the hood...the front I will leave open.. How much over sized do I need to go with the fiberglass? :D

if you use fiberglass, it will crack where you joined then together. Try stitch welding in some medal strips and take your time so you dont warp your hood. it will be time consuming but the final results will look --- factory. :lol:

 

 

I think thats going to look pretty neet when ur done w/ it what ever you do.

havent seen a datsun cowl induction hood before..

I rarely see a hood scoop I like,

but something about using the truck's own body line looks soo good!

Nice work- that's a great idea!!!
