how to go this low?

Recommended Posts

I know im late to the party, but i just recently ran into some pictures of yuta akaishi's 240z. I got hooked instantly. I am now trying to find a decent 240z and want to recreate the stance of yuta's car. Besides the weld-your-self coilovers (and fender flares), what other suspension parts would be needed to acquire my goal? Thanks in advance.

Luckily I was on his facebook when I read this to help out with pics :P

Just get shorter shocks and springs, that's always an easy start.

all you need to get "low" is Integra coilovers (not those cheap sleeves, the actual height adjustable ones) and weld them to the cut down strut tubes, and camber plates.

that's pretty much it.

Thanks. Ive had lowered cars before, just never attempted to that extreme. I was just curious if aftermarker LCA ect. were necessary, but you answered my question. Thanks again.

Don't do it. It was done to achieve a certain 'look' nothing more. Form before function, which is the definition of ricer. To be truly cool build for functionality and form will follow function. A race car looks like a race car because it IS a race car. The car is pretty much useless now for driving on the street.
