Everything looks awesome. Where did you get the grille emblem?

One of the guys here on the site made it. One of his last ones too. :hmm:

Screw the emblem. Where did you get the brake lines?

Flat, I'll send you the info what they and where I found them.

I'm not going to start another thread for this but I must now reach out and ask for HALP!!!  My struts are finished and put together but I have a found a problem on how they go back in, let me explain with some pics and words. When I took out my old struts, there was an upper spring cup with this washer like bearing sitting either on top or in between  this upper cup and strut mount.

This is the bearing

Now this is how I THINK it should back on

Now here's where I need help, do I use/not the original upper spring cup in place of the aluminum hat in the pic above or do I use both and how this bearing/washer go back into place? Somebody has to know, please help me out so I can have my ride back on the road this weekend!

Thanks all.

Very nice. Like the flame job on your jack stands too.

Yeah because ya know, it just makes working on your car 20% more cooler right?

Got your PM, Lonestar. Good info.

I'm loving your car.

Thanks Flat, so...where's the updates on yours? :P

Ok then, did get some small things done and should have her on the ground tomorrow. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

So tonight I began to plan how to clean up my engine bay just bit. Here's a DIY for all you's Ratsuners still

running a coil.

Step one, buy any drink in an aluminum can that you think looks awesome.

Step two, drink all the contents and wash out the can.

My can of choice.

Step three, get a pair of tin snips.

Snip, snip, snip!

Step 4, Cut off the top and bottom of the can and then split it open down the back side opposite of the main logo.

Step 5, remove coil from car and wrap said can cut out around the coil and BAM!

Kick ass looking coil! I'm going to paint my air cleaner and battery hold down as well. Also installed these babes while I was at it...

My work schedule just got completely screwed.

Was supposed to have a 4-day this weekend.

Boss put me on a different team earlier this week.

My new schedule is Tuesday/Sunday off for a month-then Fri. Sat. Sun. for a month.

Schedule after that is my 4 day.

No updates until my next 3 day.

I hope you only taped those mirrors on there. :fu:

Whelp, she's back on the ground now after having a problem with the brakes. I let them gravity bleed and the drivers side burped out something that looked like black rust. After, the brake where no longer grabbing hold when the brake pedal had been let off. Now, on to the pics.

The gap between the wheel is more than I wanted but I'll fix that later on. My alignment is off only a little and my wheel caps won't go back because of the dust caps. I'll figure that out later as well.

New JDM front turn signals and loving the new tucked in stance now. No more sticking. Once I get my strut mount caster plates, the stance will get even more aggressive!

The mirrors are nice looking but word of advice...get real JDM mirrors, these suck trying to see anything out of...Whelp, that's what I have for now. Til next time.

If you haven't driven it yet, it will probably settle a bit after a lap around the block.

And not sure how you assembled it, but you might also try loosening the bolt holding the LCA to the crossmember. If you tightened them when it was at full droop, you might be twisting the bushings and not allowing it to settle all the way down. Easy fix, just loosen the nut, compress the suspension fully, then tighten.

You have to put a slight dent in the dust cap to get it to clear...   ^_^

I was bummed I didn't get to see this car at Nismo fiesta last year.  Glad it's not going to disappoint this time.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

...also a little envious.  Even my new vehicles aren't as nice as this one.
