raggmann
Don't bother waiting for farmer, just get it handled. Jack up the front to take the weight off the wheels. Block the frame. Crawl under and you'll see a square headed bolt at the back of the torsion bars. Loosen this bolt (1 each side). For evey inch you loosen the bolt the front of the truck will lower 2". On mine I fully unthreaded the mounting bolt from the anchor, marked the torsion bar and where it is mounted in the front keeper with a white paint marker, slide the torsion bar out towards the rear of the truck, rotated them 1 spline, reinserted the torsion bar into the front mount, then threaded the bolt back in at the anchor. It's actually easier done than said. Here, I did a search for you. On my '72 521 it doesn't have the "C" clip, they just pulled out. http://www.bleachgarage.com/620tech_spn.html Quote Link to comment
