Yesterday i went over to Wide14u's place to help him with his truck. While i was there he finally forced me to replace the lower hinge on the passenger door and replaced the side marker bulbs. I do have to say its nice not having to lift the door when i close it. On the way to work today i got the truck up to 90. It is the fastest i have gotten it.

Forced you to replace it huh??

hey thanks for helping me with the carb she should be able to stay up the 1600 :D

The other day i moved and when i loaded my truck with all of my parts it dropped the ass end to a nice height. I had been talking with Farmerjoe and he told me that the 720 4x4 are flat and stiffer. So then plan is to pick them up probably this week and then run a one inch or two inch block to get it at the right height. Here it is loaded down012911161629.jpg012911161600.jpg

In this oic you can see that the leaf is flat.012911161618.jpg

Then this is how it normally sits012511170412.jpg

Oh i was wondering what are some ways to notch the frame without having to cut up the bed to allow for more travel when i lower it more.

decisions decisions...

i think you be good with a 30 over L20 with the head from the l16... and then put some 390s in it so you can go everywhere and get good gas mileage..

dan, when you had the head off, did the cam look like a stock casting or maybe like a regrind or something?

The cam had cwc on it. it isnt a nissan cam at all. All i could find on cwc is the use to or still do make cam blanks if i'm not mistaken

Yeah i dont know what i am going to do for a motor yet i have been looking i would love to get my hands on a L18 and build the shit out of it but we will see and i am going to find some 4.11 gears for it i still want some get up it has great accel and would love to keep like that but the only way is to find a tranny that has a big overdrive
