What was the last year for "hooks" on the beds?

I would say the bed hooks were removed from the outside of the box for '85 and until the end of the 720s in '86.5. From '80 through '84 there is an outward facing lip on the box ad the hooks were tucked under this. In '85 this lip was done away with and there was really nowhere to put them anymore. I don't recall if they were put inside the box or not. Maybe an option.

Thats a Mexican hardbody from the look of it. Lots of places still had hook options outside the US. Yet another reason to move out of the country. :(

I forgot my 720 had hooks like that. I actually like those anchor hooks better than the regular hooks. They still look smooth, but are still functional.
