Where can I find a front main seal for my j13. These things are shitty to find parts for. I have no part to reference since this damn truck didn't even come with one

The only seal they have is a rear crankshaft seal

they usually come in those.

 

 

Iv had a few gaskets/seals that would not show up in any computer but it turned out they came in a gasket set but they didnt show it when the part alone was searched.

Thats the case for a lot of cars :blink: I looked to get just a few select ones, but couldn't even for the L20, had to get a kit to get them...

Timing cover gasket set does exist either. I had to make my own after days of searching

Seals are made in standard sizes like other hardware. There are several specialist outlets listed in the directory (seals-O-rings) if you know shaft size & other dimensions or the old seal for cross reference.

I have not checked with actual parts but visually it seems that the front main seal for the Roadster and sedan 1600 R engine just might fit. See if RockAuto lists them.

Front main bearing cap oil seal .....Nissan # 12287 09400 supersedes to # 12287 B8200 about $5. One of those numbers should work.

 

Nissan Timing Case Cover gasket..... # 13044 08000 May be discontinued but you can maybe use the number to cross reference another.
