stainless steel clutch hose

ive been searching but havent found anything but the rubber clutch hose that connects to the slave cylinder on rockauto.. just wondering if anyone has a link to a stainless steel version? much appreciated

 

i have an sr20det connected to a 510 clutch master

Clutch slave cylinder hoses are rubber.

 

The stainless steel ones of which you speak are specialty items, so you order it from a hose company. Like Earls, maybe? Or Summit Racing. You can either order it custom (you provide the specs), or find an existing one that will work.

I think it was Brad (hosestop AT msn DOT com or (5-six-2)6NINE6-5NINENINE5) that makes full length braided clutch lines. He's in California. Are you looking for a master all the way to slave line, or just the short piece?

Local speed shop can make you one.With the 620,rubber ones are non-exsistant on a local level.

Will a braided brake flex line work?

I replaced my clutch line with a braided steel line from Earl's They custom made it according to the old rubber one I brought in. Only took them a few minutes and install was no problem.

ive installed them on 3 510's (& they ALL shifted faster :P especially the green lines)

as well as his brake lines.

I used one from a 240SX too. Bought it on ebay. It is the full length stainless line that runs from the clutch master to the slave.

 

This is the one I used. He has a make offer option in the auction. I got it for a $30 offer.

Not the same hose. One is a full length (master to slave) flexible hose, the one you mention is just the flex section (hard line to slave), although that's probably what the OP wanted in the first place.

yep thats all i needed was the 9" line
