Do kids still build models???? I did when I was 14-15. Had a new Ford GT 40 kit and fit the 427 DOHC motor and fuel injection trumpets from another kit into it. A Barracuda with a HEMI in the back seat just like the Hurst Hemi Under Glass. Always liked mixing parts around to make it better.

This is the closest I've gotten to a 'real' hotrod. But I love them and subscribe to Ol Skool Rodz.

 

Check it out Jesse! Do you have one of these? In the box. Never assembled. From what I've gathered it is really rare because it is the motorized version. I've seen the life-size one that was built on Hot Rod TV. Pretty cool!

I do. I started with airplanes when I was younger, but now I'm into cars. I've got a shelby GT500 KR on the workbench now. Along with a 69 camaro that I need to get around to finishing.

 

Oh, and ontopic, Hot Rods rock. But Rat Rods are even cooler. :D
