Master-O-Turbonics
nice keep it uppp :D Thanks man. are those Diamond racing wheels? Yes. 15"X8" and 4" of backspace. pretty cheap wheels, had them on my Z car. Might get some 10" wide wheels with 5" of backspace for the car... need bigger than 15" so I can get tires. Outstanding!!! Really would like to try this too. It was pretty easy... 2 filler rods and 150 amps LOL. Need to build a jig to better bend the head backwards for welding...my way wasn't the sturdiest. datzenmike
Found these years ago. It was done in Oz. I think the valve angle was changed as well. Breathing supported 250 hp (alleged) Quote Link to comment

510kevin
i was on board also til that last pic. please tell me you arent putting a charger stockcar nose on it... :( Quote Link to comment
67 411
I'm sure he isn't putting that on there. I bet he is just showing us the kind of light weight front end he is going to make. If he was going to run that front end he probably wouldn't be building a datsun engine for it. Quote Link to comment
metalmonkey47
You guys are gullible  It obviously came off the stock car next to his car. This thing is gonna be sick Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
modern aero looks to go with the modern twin-cam engine. Cant wait to see it. Quote Link to comment

Never thought of L series parts as modern or twin cam. ;-) maybe the big turbo and Mahle pistons and EFI will make up for having a single cam????? Its definitely a race car lol Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
You guys are funny. just keep watching. You ever seen a stock 210 nose? the aero wind steering on this thing is terrible! I would go to say it was almost worse than my 260Z, which was all over the road at highway speeds (until polyurethane steering rack bushings!) Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Yep it needs lowering and an air dam. And that's just for street/highway usage... Quote Link to comment
Master-O-Turbonics
To make up for putting a high downforce aerodynamic nose on the car, I give OIC of slammage... Tucking 14's Quote Link to comment

I would go to say it was almost worse than my 260Z, which was all over the road at highway speeds Think that could be because of the massive positive camber? Can't have much of a contact patch up front... Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
But will have a great contact patch when cornering. Have you seen how much a 210 wheel tucks under while cornering? Just don't put stiff anti-sway bars on it. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
But will have a great contact patch when cornering. Unless his control arms point down (ball joint end lower than inside pick-up point, which seems unlikely at this ride height) then his camber will go more positive under compression. That, and he was talking about problems driving straight at freeway speeds. ;) Quote Link to comment
