That almost looks like a inline six L20

Nissan beat the Land speed record in the late sixties with a gas powered inline 6 L20 ....... 2 liter...... it looks alot smaller than a L28

wut? The L20A is the exact same size demensionally as any other L-6 it's just got thick ol' walls. And I'm not sure how you'd feed 6cyl with 4 injectors... Anywho, Nissan made an LD20

From the Great Wiki:

There is also a diesel version of the 4-cylinder L-series, used in amongst others the Bluebird 910 and the Vanette. (but strangely enough was not in the 720 pickup, which had the SD22/25 when diesel powered, while the gas version most often has the L-series engine. However, in case of a conversion of a gas powered 720 to diesel, it will be much easier to use a LD20 because it fits on the original gearbox and engine mounts.) The N/A version produced 65 hp @4600rpm and 12,5 kgm @2400rpm, later 67 hp/13 kgm. The turbo version has 79 hp@4400rpm and 17 kgm @2400 rpm. The LD engine must not be confused with the Nissan SD engine which is a totally different engine.

Stock l20b produces 100 hp (75 kW) in 1981 form with 112 lb·ft (152 N·m)

Sooooo... The l20b has more Hp and about the same torque..... Plus the gas engine you can rev it higher. I would just like it for the intake and exhaust manifold...

To be technically correct, the deck height is lower on an L20A, so it is "smaller" in one dimension.

The turbo manifold would in theory bolt up. I actually bought one, and took pictures of it on my 620... They might be in my project thead... The only problem I saw with it is that the firewall would have to be notched, or beat in to clear the down pipe out of the turbo...

That is a sweet truck! I would totally buy that if I had money to blow.

bead blast that valve cover for crying out loud. fuck it never mind i hate diesel. almost had to choke a guy recently just cause the smell was rewiring my brain cells to kill.

You'd hate my Datsun Maxima Diesel Wagon. If you tail gate I will intentionally black you out of my vision until you slow down or drive off the road cause you cant see it.... MAWHAhahahah! No but seriously you will have to wash soot off your car and you might think my wagon was a-blaze or something.

These diesels could do good with a bit o forced induction. Its on the list for mine if I end up keeping.
