izzo Posted May 3, 2010 Author Report Share Posted May 3, 2010 Went to nismo dr's house today and picked up the goon. he helped get it going along with Phil1985 & dislexicdime. she runs, leaks oil, needs some things. Phil bypass the external regulator so now its internal regulated alternator. Thanks phil! got all but 1 break bled, bleeder stuck. Turns out the chick didn't know what she's talking about. Its an L16 in there with the U67 head. Intake needs some gaskets to seal it up good. I need to take a look at the linkage, when i got the pedal to the floor i dont feel the second barrel opening up. Still gets up and goes good enough to get around. Gets good mileage :D Oil light comes on and off but its got enough oil. Figuring the oil pump, have a spare i will toss in there and try out see what happens. All lights and stuff work, including stereo. Need to do a little work on the wipers but they sorta do work. Turn signals, lights, wipers, stereo. shit yeah :D Hope the new oil pump fixes the oil light thing. Gas gauge works but its a little off. And i would like to figure out why the temp gauge is all over. Never gets hot but goes from the line to about middle and back. stays down near the line if i leave the vent open and air flows thru the heater core.... Quote Link to comment
